One of the most easiest and yet effective way to start earning money online is to write product reviews. In this article, I will share with you how you can do so whether you have a website or not. Of course it’ll be better if you have your own website but if you don’t, you can also use this method to earn money.

First, you need to find a product to be reviewed. Note: I use Clickbank’s product as example here. Of course you can also promote products from other affiliate networks such as Commission Junction, PayDotCom, AssociatePrograms, etc.

Here is what I normally do…

Go to clickbank.com, click on “Marketplace”, select the “Money & Employment” category and then click the “Go” button.

You will then be presented a list of products (see screenshot below).

In this example, I will will use a product called “SaleHoo”; listed as #9 bestseller in this category as of this writing (see the red arrow above). This product pays 75% in commission for every sale. Affiliates on average earn up to $40 per sale. All these stats are stated in the listing. I won’t discuss these stats in this article as they have been well explained in the Clickbank’s FAQ.

The purpose here is to show you how to write a product review.

Here is the anatomy of a product review structure I normally use:

• Start by describing what is it and what does the product do?
• Is it a legitimate product?
• Does it have a money-back guarantee?
• What do you like about the product (the Pros)?
• What you do not line about the product (the Cons)?

The above structure is just a guideline, it’s not a de jure standard but I personally find it very effective especially for intenet marketing products review.

TIPS: Make sure you always use the product name (such as SaleHoo in this case) and the word Review as the title of your article. I also find it very effective to add this line “Is it a scam?”.

For example: “SaleHoo Review – Is it a Scam?“.

A variation of it can be “SaleHoo Review – Scam or Real Deal?”

This is so that I target two keyword phrases (SaleHoo Review and SaleHoo Scam) in the title. This is very effective for SEO purposes.

Next, submit your review to EzineArticles. It’s the best article directory for SEO purposes. Many of its articles rank on the first page of Google’s search results. Of course not all keyword phrases will land on the first page. But for many new products, the strategy of writing and submitting product reviews to EzineArticles works very well.

Note that articles submitted to EzineArticles will be reviewed and approved by human. Therefore, you must comply to its TOS. Otherwise, your article will be rejected.

What to do if you don’t have your own website?

The best article directory such as EzineArticles does not allow you to include your affiliate link in your article. However, you can include two links to your websites. But, what if you don’t have a website? Well, if you don’t have a website, you can use Squidoo or Hubpages.

That means you need to write additional information regarding the product you review in Squidoo or Hubpages. So that you can include a link or two in your article that will direct readers to your Squidoo lens or Hubpages.

If you ask me to rate SaleHoo from 1 – 10, I will give it 8 out of 10. Although it’s not a perfect product, it does have good value for your money. There are many similar wholesale/supplier directory and some of them cost up to $500. For a one-time fee of $67, I personally feel that SaleHoo gives a lot of great value for your money.

Whether you’re doing Internet Marketing full-time or part-time, it doesn’t matter. What matters is how you use your time to do more productive works. In this article, I will share with you how successful Internet Marketers know what to do on a regular basis. They create “to-do list”. A to-do list consists of activities that are done on a regular basis. Depending on the specific tasks, they may be done once a week, twice a week or every other week.

Here is an example of my own to-do list:

• Writing articles for submission to my own blogs, EzineArticles, Squidoo and Hubpages. Sometimes I write 10 – 15 articles in a week, sometimes only 5 articles. It depends on the niche market you’re in.
• Using Micro Niche Finder software to find untapped niches and do keyword analysis. I use this software because it saves me time from doing niche/keyword research. It’s kind of like an automated niche research tool and it has the capability to quickly tell me whether to go ahead entering that niche market or not. It also tells what keyword phrases to target and what to avoid. You can read my review of Micro Niche Finder here.
• Creating AdWords campaigns based on the research and analysis from the step above.
• Monitoring and optimizing my AdWords campaigns. I do not use any special tool here because Google AdWords already has all the tools I need and they are free.
• Composing emails that contain some internet marketing success tips and send them to my subscribers. I only do this once a week. Sometimes once biweekly. NEVER bombard your subsribers with one promotion after another. If you do that, they will unsubscribe from your list or simply flag your email as spam.
• Checking and reading emails (I only subscribed to few email lists from someone that truly want to share their IM success tips). Never subscribe to those lists whose intention is to bombard you with promotions.

Of course, your to-do list may be different from mine. However, the activities listed above are typically found on an internet marketing to-do list. You can also prioritize the activities to keep the flow of what you need to do in a particular day or week. Try to write everything down on your to-do list, no matter how big or small it is. So that you can see which ones you want to focus more attention to.

Having a to-do list is very important, especially in the internet marketing world. It helps you to focus on your goals instead of wandering around looking for new offers. As you know, there are so many new launches each week. You will know it when your inbox is bombarded by offers. Some products have excellent values but unfortunately, most of the internet marketing products are just rehashed materials.

So make sure you do your home work before deciding to buy another new internet marketing product. If the products are in line with your strategies and can help you achieve your goals faster, then by all means invest in it. Otherwise just ignore them and save your money!

If you are using Pay Per Click marketing such as Google AdWords or Yahoo Search Marketing system to promote and sell products online, do remember that more traffic does not mean more money.

What do I mean by that?

Let me explain by using an example…

For example, if you are targeting a keyword phrase “psp downloads”, you are likely to lose money. Why? Not only that the key phrase is super competitive but more importantly, it does not CONVERT. Meaning that people searching for that key phrase are the web browsers (mostly teenagers) and they don’t intend to buy anything. They’re just browsing and looking for free stuffs.

So, although targeting the key phrase “psp downloads” will give you tons of clicks and result in tons of traffic, it does not give you sales. And no sales = no money (a very simple equation). And remember that since you’re using PPC, every click will cost you money.

So what are you supposed to do?

The answer is to be more SPECIFIC. What do I mean by that?

It means that you need to find key phrases that are converting. These key phrases may not give you lots of traffic but they will give you sales. Which one is more important to you, sales or traffic?

In other words, you need to target those people who are looking to BUY NOW!

For example, you should be targeting on the following key phrases instead…

• psp games downloads
• best psp download site
• how to download games to psp
• how to download movies to psp
• how to download videos to psp

… and so on.
