Article Marketing Tips: How to create variations in articles

In this article/post, I will share with you a neat method I use to create many variations of my article. You might be wondering why is it important to create different versions of article? Well, the reason we want to do this is because we want to have better search engine rankings for our articles and attract more visitors or traffic to our site.

If you submit the same article to your website or blog and different article directories, you create duplicate contents around the web and hence your article will receive lower rankings from the search engines. I personally would like to spend a little more time and effort to create a few variations or versions of my article. It’s very easy to do and the method is free. You just need to expend your time.

Here is how I create variations in my article…

1. Write your article using Microsoft Word.

2. When you finish with your first article, click on the “Tools” menu and select “AutoSummarize…”.

3. Now you will be presented by four types of summary options. Select the 3rd option: “Create a new document and put the summary there.”

4. Select “50%” for Percent of original. This will instruct Microsoft Word to reduce the article by 50% from the original.

5. Now click the “OK” button and Word will examine your original document and pick the sentences most relevant to the main theme based on a percentage term you’ve selected in step 4.

The above steps can be done in just few seconds.

Next, you need to read the new version of your article (the one that was reduced by 50% of the original) and check if it make sense. The idea here is to fill in the blanks and re-write those sections taken out by Word. Once you’ve done so, you will have an article that is reasonably unique from the original version.

Personally, I will repeat the process again 2-3 more times so I end up with 4-5 versions.

I will submit the original version to EzineArticles.com and the 2nd version to my own website or blog. I will submit and share the remaining 2-3 versions to other article directories such as ArticleDashBoard.com, GoArticles.com, IdeaMarketers.com, ArticleAlley.com, SearchWarp.com, ArticleCity.com, ArticleHub.com and ArticleBase.com. I will also submit one to HubPages.com and Squidoo.com.
