“How to write articles for the internet quickly and effectively?”

In this blog post, I will share with you an article writing formula that I use to write my articles for the Web.

Firstly, please remember that you don’t need to be a professional writer to write articles for the Net. What you need is some knowledge on the subject that you want to write about and provide value to the readers.

Writing and submitting articles to your own blog and article directory such as EzineArticles.com, is an important activity if you want success in Internet Marketing. Anyone who is serious about achieving success in Internet Marketing should have a blog and submit articles to EzineArticles.com regularly.

You may be asking why EzineArticles.com?

Well, the reason is because Google loves this site and if you write your articles right, your articles will sit on top of Google’s search results. Also, when you submit an article to EzineArticles, your article is NOT approved automatically. It will first be reviewed by a human reader and if your article is complied with their guidelines, then they will approve it. This will ensure the quality of all the articles submitted to this site.

It’s beyond the scope of this blog post to discuss how to write articles that will get accepted by EzineArticles. If you want to know how to do that, go and check out this video course: “4 Day Money Making Blueprint“.

Ok, as promised here is the formula I use when I write my articles for the Internet… NOTE: I assume that you already have a topic that you want to write about.

1. Pick up 3-5 important points or tips you want to write about. For instance, let’s say your chosen topic is Time Management. In this case, the good topics are: “5 Practical Tips To Manage And Maximize Your Time” or “5 Important Tips To Manage Your Time Effectively”.

TIPS: Before I write my article, I often go to EzineArticles and read a few articles written by other people on the same subject. When I read the articles, I will jot down the main point that I find useful or valuable. I will continue to read other articles until I collect at least 3-5 main points.

2. Use the main points you have gathered in step 1 and rewrite a few paragraphs for each point (this is the meat of your article). Before giving them the meat, start your article by telling your readers WHAT you’re going to tell them.

For example, you can write something like this…. “In this article, I’m going to share with you 5 important tips you can use to manage and maximize your time”. Then, give them the meat of your article.

3. End your article by giving them a conclusion. For example, you can write something like this…. “Time is your life! Knowing how to manage your time is equivalent to knowing how to manage your life. Now that you’ve these tips, go and apply them in your day-to-day activities.”

There you have it… the formula for writing articles quickly.

Closing Remarks:

Writing articles is NOT difficult if you follow this formula. You see, you just need to write 300-500 words article. In fact, EzineArticles will accept articles that have ONLY 250 words (this is the minimum requirement). With the above formula, 250 words is very easy to achieve… don’t just take my words for it, try it yourself!

In this article, I will share with you what method I use to find niches and why I use this method. The method I use will NOT cost you a penny!

The method I use to find a profitable niche is… EzineArticles.com

When you go to EzineArticles.com, you will see hundreds of categories and sub-categories. Just spend 10-15 minutes going through the categories and I’m sure you will find a topic that interests you pretty quickly.

There are TWO main reasons why I like to use EzineArticles.com to find niches….

1. It’s the #1 article directory on the Net – if you can find a category or sub-category that interests you, there is a high chance that it’s a profitable niche.
2. You can REENGINEER a success model –> I will elaborate this below.

Reeingineering A Success Model

When finding a niche, you don’t need to reinvent the wheel. You just need to find one that interests you and check how many authors have been promoting products in your chosen niche. EzineArticles.com is a perfect place to do such research.

For example, I’m interested in “Car Stereo Systems”. I go to EzineArticles.com, click on the “Automotive” category and I immediately see the “Mobile Audio Video” sub-category.

When I click on “Mobile Audio Video” sub-category, I will see a list of authors who had written articles in this niche. There is also a link where I can click and see the Top Authors. If you see there are many people writing articles for a particular topic, chances are that the niche is profitable.

You can then read their articles, LEARN how they structure their articles, find out WHAT products they are promoting and HOW they promote the products. This is called: “Reengineering a success process”. Why waste your time reinvent the wheel?

NOW, the next step is to CONFIRM whether your chosen niche is truly PROFITABLE. To do that, you’ll need to do KEYWORD RESEARCH. I’m not going to cover keyword research in this post, but you can read some of my previous articles here: Keyword Research Tips.

I don’t like to sound boastful but these TWO articles have generated thousands of dollars of sales for me every single month and they still produce sales until today. And of course these are not the only articles I wrote, I have written many many articles.

Many people like to say that they HATE writing!

Well, guess what? I HATE writing articles too. Heck! English is not even my first language. In fact, I speak broken English because it’s not my mother tongue, I only started to learn how to speak and write English when I was 21 years old. If I can do it… you CAN DO IT!

You see, article marketing is not as hard as it sounds. You just need to follow a formula!

In a nutshell, here is the formula or steps I use for writing articles:

1. Find a profitable niche
2. Do keyword research
3. Construct a compelling article title (make sure your targeted keywords are in the title)
4. Construct a good article body (tell people what you’re going to tell them, tell them and then summarize what you have told them)
5. Construct a good resource box (this is an important part, it’s here where you ask people to check out your site)

These are basically the steps you need to follow when writing your articles. Note that writing articles for marketing purposes is NOT the same as writing articles in school. That’s why there are certain steps and protocols you need to follow if you want your articles to rank highly on the search engines.

One of the most often asked questions in the world of online business or internet marketing is….

How do I get more traffic to my blog? or How do i get more traffic to my website?

It’s no wonder that this question get asked over and over again because traffic is the lifeblood of any blog or website. Whether you’re promoting a product on your blog/site or building your subscriber list, you need traffic. Whatever you intend to do…. if you have a blog/website, you need TRAFFIC!

Of course, there are many ways to generate traffic to your blog/site and I have written a few posts on this topic at my blog. You can take a look at Traffic Generation Tips.

In this post, I will share with you one method called Article Marketing. This is not a new method but very effective and it’s free. You don’t need to spend a dime doing article marketing, all it needs is your time.

I’m going to share with you how to write articles effectively and quickly.

1. Visit ezinearticles.com and do some research.

2. You’ll see a list of categories (30 or so) on the home page.

3. Select a category you like by clicking on it.

4. You’ll see a list of sub-categories. Choose one by clicking on it.

5. Now, you will see a list of articles in that category. Look through the title of each article and see which one makes you want to click.

6. Then, click on the one that attracts your attention and read the article.

7. After reading, copy the TITLE of that article and paste it onto a text file (I will talk more about TITLE later on).

8. Write down a few key points or tips that you’ve learned from that article. Now, in your own words, expand on the key points.

NOTE: If you feel that you need more key points to construct your own article, go back to the article list and find another one that has an interesting title and read it. You can repeat this step until you’ve got enough key points and tips to form your own article.

If you follow the above steps, you will be able to construct a 300 to 400 words article in no time, without you even realizing it. Note that the top article directory like ezinearticles.com will accept article that has at least 250 words.

After doing the above steps a few time, sometimes I can construct a 500 words article in less than 20 minutes. Of course, this will depend on the topic you want to write, some topics are pretty easy (perhaps you already have some knowledge on that topic). If you’re not familiar with the topic, it may take a bit longer.

WARNING: NEVER EVER copy other people’s articles word by word! That’s Plagiarism! What I’m suggesting you to do here is to read other people articles, get some ideas and then use it to organize your thoughts so that you’re able to write the same ideas in YOUR OWN WORDS.

Now, once you’ve manage to write the article, submit it to the following article directories:

- ezinearticles.com

- articlesbase.com

- goarticles.com

- articledashboard.com

There are hundreds of article directories but from my own experience, I find the above 4 are the best when it comes to getting more traffic to your blog/site. Of course, if you’ve the time, you can submit your article to more directories.

Note on your Article TITLE

Your article title is the most important part in term of search engine optimization (SEO). So, make sure you use the keywords you want to target in the title. Also, try to make the title of your article catchy or appealing that people want to click.

From my own experience, I find that attractive titles will consist of phrases like “5 Tips On How To……”, “5 Simple Steps To…..”, and “How To….”

For example: “5 Simple Steps To Burn Belly Fat”, “How To Burn Fat Almost Overnight With Ease”, “How To Lose 10 Pounds In One Month”.

Another advantage of article marketing is that your articles will be published by other webmasters. As you can see from the screenshot, my articles are published 660 times. This will generate one-way backlinks and more traffic to my site.

All these traffic are free and will continue to grow over time even if you have stopped submitting. After submitting articles every day for 4 months, my affiliate sales increase 50% and adsense incomes increase two fold. That’s the power of article marketing… the best way to generate traffic for free.

But submitting articles to article directory like EzineArticles.com is the easiest part. You need to do it right in order for it to generate continous traffic to your site.

In this article/post, I will share with you a neat method I use to create many variations of my article. You might be wondering why is it important to create different versions of article? Well, the reason we want to do this is because we want to have better search engine rankings for our articles and attract more visitors or traffic to our site.

If you submit the same article to your website or blog and different article directories, you create duplicate contents around the web and hence your article will receive lower rankings from the search engines. I personally would like to spend a little more time and effort to create a few variations or versions of my article. It’s very easy to do and the method is free. You just need to expend your time.

Here is how I create variations in my article…

1. Write your article using Microsoft Word.

2. When you finish with your first article, click on the “Tools” menu and select “AutoSummarize…”.

3. Now you will be presented by four types of summary options. Select the 3rd option: “Create a new document and put the summary there.”

4. Select “50%” for Percent of original. This will instruct Microsoft Word to reduce the article by 50% from the original.

5. Now click the “OK” button and Word will examine your original document and pick the sentences most relevant to the main theme based on a percentage term you’ve selected in step 4.

The above steps can be done in just few seconds.

Next, you need to read the new version of your article (the one that was reduced by 50% of the original) and check if it make sense. The idea here is to fill in the blanks and re-write those sections taken out by Word. Once you’ve done so, you will have an article that is reasonably unique from the original version.

Personally, I will repeat the process again 2-3 more times so I end up with 4-5 versions.

I will submit the original version to EzineArticles.com and the 2nd version to my own website or blog. I will submit and share the remaining 2-3 versions to other article directories such as ArticleDashBoard.com, GoArticles.com, IdeaMarketers.com, ArticleAlley.com, SearchWarp.com, ArticleCity.com, ArticleHub.com and ArticleBase.com. I will also submit one to HubPages.com and Squidoo.com.
