Although it’s very easy to set up a website or WordPress blog, many newbies still ask this question…
“How to make money online without a website?”
Well, the answer to this question is “YES”. When I started doing affiliate marketing back in 2007, I didn’t have my own website because I didn’t know how to set one up. And, I also didn’t want the hassle of registering a domain, purchase and set up a hosting account. All these tasks are very simple but when I first got started, I just had no idea how to do it. But, that didn’t stop me from making money online.
I was using (and still using them until today) three powerful sites to host my articles:
1. Squidoo.com
2. Hubpages.com
3. EzineArticles.com
All these sites are FREE! You just need to have an email address and register an account with each of them. It’s extremely easy to register an account with these sites, the steps of writing and submitting articles to these sites are also very simple.
One thing you need to remember is to submit unique articles. NEVER EVER submit duplicate articles to these sites because they will NOT rank well at all and you will be wasting your time. So make certain that you write your own articles. These sites are recognized by Google as “high authority” sites. So good ranking on Google will be rewarded to unique articles.
To prove what I have just said… take a look at one of my articles on Hubpages.
I wrote this article back in June, 22 2007. And the keyword phrase I was targeting is “profit lance review”. It was always in the 3rd and 4th position of Google’s results back in 2007. Today, that article is ranked on 8th position out of 4,420,000 results (see screenshot below).
This is just a simple 450 words article I wrote to review a product called “Profit Lance”. I include my affiliate link at the end of the article. I make an average of 10 to 15 sales per month for this product even until today. And I pocket $40 commission for each sale. So, that single Hubpage’s article makes me from $400 to $600 a month. Not bad eh?
Of course, not all of my articles rank on the first page of Google. But, the trick is to keep on writing review after review (400 – 500 words article). It may take you 1 to 2 hours to write each article but if one of them makes you $600 a month, it’s well worth it. Don’t you agree?
Similarly, I also write and submit articles to Squidoo and EzineArticles. Note that for EzineArticles, you’re not allowed to include your affiliate link in the author’s resource box. What you can do, however, is to put a link back to your Hubpages or Squidoo’s articles.
So, if you’re new in Internet Marketing, you can use this strategy. Write 400 – 500 words review of a product you’re affiliated with and submit to these sites. Just remember to write and submit unique article.
Of course, in the long run, you want to learn how to set up your own website or blog. But, if you don’t have one now, it doesn’t mean that you can’t make money. In fact, if you submit unique articles consistently to these sites, you will make money because some of your articles will inevitably land on the first page of Google’s results.
