One of the most easiest and yet effective way to start earning money online is to write product reviews. In this article, I will share with you how you can do so whether you have a website or not. Of course it’ll be better if you have your own website but if you don’t, you can also use this method to earn money.
First, you need to find a product to be reviewed. Note: I use Clickbank’s product as example here. Of course you can also promote products from other affiliate networks such as Commission Junction, PayDotCom, AssociatePrograms, etc.
Here is what I normally do…
Go to clickbank.com, click on “Marketplace”, select the “Money & Employment” category and then click the “Go” button.
You will then be presented a list of products (see screenshot below).
In this example, I will will use a product called “SaleHoo”; listed as #9 bestseller in this category as of this writing (see the red arrow above). This product pays 75% in commission for every sale. Affiliates on average earn up to $40 per sale. All these stats are stated in the listing. I won’t discuss these stats in this article as they have been well explained in the Clickbank’s FAQ.
The purpose here is to show you how to write a product review.
Here is the anatomy of a product review structure I normally use:
- Start by describing what is it and what does the product do?
- Is it a legitimate product?
- Does it have a money-back guarantee?
- What do you like about the product (the Pros)?
- What you do not line about the product (the Cons)?
The above structure is just a guideline, it’s not a de jure standard but I personally find it very effective especially for intenet marketing products review.

TIPS: Make sure you always use the product name (such as SaleHoo in this case) and the word Review as the title of your article. I also find it very effective to add this line “Is it a scam?”.
For example: “SaleHoo Review – Is it a Scam?“.
A variation of it can be “SaleHoo Review – Scam or Real Deal?”
This is so that I target two keyword phrases (SaleHoo Review and SaleHoo Scam) in the title. This is very effective for SEO purposes.
Next, submit your review to EzineArticles. It’s the best article directory for SEO purposes. Many of its articles rank on the first page of Google’s search results. Of course not all keyword phrases will land on the first page. But for many new products, the strategy of writing and submitting product reviews to EzineArticles works very well.
Note that articles submitted to EzineArticles will be reviewed and approved by human. Therefore, you must comply to its TOS. Otherwise, your article will be rejected.
What to do if you don’t have your own website?
The best article directory such as EzineArticles does not allow you to include your affiliate link in your article. However, you can include two links to your websites. But, what if you don’t have a website? Well, if you don’t have a website, you can use Squidoo or Hubpages.
That means you need to write additional information regarding the product you review in Squidoo or Hubpages. So that you can include a link or two in your article that will direct readers to your Squidoo lens or Hubpages.
